We’re so excited that Tanjerine starts tonight! We have some really great sponsors that have helped make this event possible, and one of those sponsors is Green BEAN Delivery.
Tonight, we have a craft cocktail bartending competition that is presented by Zesco Products, Crafted Taste, Wilks & Wilson, Milagro Tequila, Reyka Vodka, Hendrinks Gin, Solerno Liqueur, Sailor Jerry Rum, Green BEAN Delivery and Bier Brewery. We can’t wait to see what these amazing mixologists come up with from the ingredients they are given!
We sat down to talk with Travis Summitt, the Regional Marketing Coordinator for Green BEAN Delivery, to find out a little bit more about this convenient (and tasty) service.
Green BEAN Delivery started in Indianapolis in 2007 and has since expanded into other major cities in the midwest. It is a year-round food delivery service that brings the freshest local and organic produce and natural groceries right to your doorstep. The goal is to make healthy and sustainably-grown food affordable, accessible and convenient to midwest communities. “We serve our mission by building food systems and businesses that address our communities’ greatest food challenges.”
Seeing as Tanjerine is an event that focuses on food, Green BEAN Delivery seemed like the perfect match. “Tanjerine seems like it is going to be a really fun event to participate in! By drawing in crowds interested in fashion, food, and film, it is going to allow Green BEAN Delivery a great opportunity to showcase our high-quality, organic produce to be cooked, sampled, and photographed. And as a cooking-show fanatic, I’m very excited to see the competition in person when the chefs and bartenders get to display their talents in creating delicious foods and beverages.”
During the bartender and cooking competitions at Tanjerine, Green BEAN Delivery will be providing a large selection of organic fruits and vegetables, ranging from the standard items you would find in an average fridge like greens, citrus and common herbs to unique produce that will hopefully challenge the chefs to think outside of the box. And of course there will be a box of organic tangerines for namesake.
So what’s in store for the future of Green BEAN Delivery? The company is always looking to further expand their network of farmers and artisans in the midwest, and they want to continue to provide more families with a healthy and convenient option when it comes to having access to high-quality, organic produce and natural groceries. “I love being in a business that cares deeply about our community and works to provide fresh fruits, organic vegetables, natural groceries and sustainably-raised animal products in an affordable and convenient package. Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoy working towards the common goal of expanding the network of local, healthy food options available to Indy residents.”
